(3) Crinan de Mormaer, born 975. Married Princess
Bethoc of Scotland and had sons Maldred and Duncan I.

(4) Duncan I, King of Scotland, born 1001, died August 14th, 1040. Was murdered by rival and cousin MacBeth, but not at Glamis castle, as Shakespeare's play would have it, but in battle. Duncan married Sibyl of

(5) Malcolm Caenmore III, King of Scotland, born 1031, died November 13th, 1093. Son of Duncan and Sybil. After his father's death, he fled the country, but returned some years later to kill MacBeth and avenge his father's murder. Married Margaret

(6) David I, "the Saint", Caenmore, King of Scotland, born 1084. Died May 24th, 1153. Son of Malcolm and Margaret. Married Maud of

(7) Henry, Prince of Scotland and Earl of Huntington, born 1114. Died June 12th, 1152, predeceasing his father. Son of David and Maud. Married Ada
de Warrenne and had sons William I and David.

(8) David, Earl of Huntington, born 1144. Died June 17th, 1219. Son of Henry and Ada. Married Maud
of Chester and had daughters Marguerite (who married first Conan IV of Brittany and secondly Humphrey de Bohun) and Ada.

(9) Ada of Huntington, born about 1195. Daughter of David and Maud. Married Sir Henry
Hastings.
