(1) Edmund I, the Elder, King of England, born 921. Died May 26, 926 at Pucklechurch, Dorset. Stabbed to death by an outlaw named Loelf at a banquet to St. Augustine. Son of Edward the Elder and Edgiva. Married AElgifu and had son Edgar.

(2) Edgar, "the peaceful", King of England, born 944. Died July 8th, 975 in Winchester, England. Son of Edmund and AElgifu. Married Elfrida and had son AEthelred.

(3) AEthelred II, "the unready", King of England, born 968. Died April 23rd, 1016 in London, England. Son of Edgar and Elfrida. Married Elfreda and had son Edmund and daughter
AElfgifu. Married secondly to Emma, "the flower", of Normandy (born 984, died 1052, she went on to marry his successor, Canute) and had daughter Godgifu (born 1003, died 1055, she married Dreux of Vexin). Due to Danish raids, he was forced to pay huge tributes to the enemy. Was driven from England by Sweyn but later returned. Died during Canute's invasion of England.

(4) Edmund II, "Ironside", King of England. Born 989. Married Ealdgyth and had son Edward the Aethling. Murdered in 1016 by the instigation of his brother-in-law, Edric.

(5) Edward the Aethling, also called "the exile" and "the outlaw". Son of Edmund and Ealdgyth. Born 1016, died 1057. Married Agatha of
Saxony and had daughter Margaret.

(6) Margaret the Aethling, born 1045 in Hungary, died November 16th, 1093 at Edinburgh Castle, Scotland. Daughter of Edward and Agatha. (7) David I, King of Scotland, born 1084. Son of Margaret and Malcolm Caenmor. Married Matilda Huntington and had Henry of
Huntington.
