Hi and thank you for dropping by to visit my homepage. I am Tenn_Teach, a 44 year old teacher from Memphis ,Tennessee. I have been a teacher with Memphis City Schools for 22 years and the past 19 of those years have been spent on an incredible adventure teaching first graders. I love teaching young children. There are no words to describe the feeling I get when one of my students reads for the first time. There is no more humbling feeling than the one I get when a child looks at me with such trust that I will teach him or her everything that needs to be learned. Where else can one go to work and have their clients greet them with hugs and smiles in the morning? Where else can one gain such pleasure from a crayon drawing with the words " I love my teacher."? To teach is to touch a life forever!
