REVIEW: "In the spring of 1983, award-winning field biologist, R.D. Lawrence, traveled to Michigan's Upper Peninsula to live among and observe a captive pack of untamed wolves." - This is a fantastic book. A unique blend of natural history and narrative which results in a winning combination. A real insight into the lives and social interactions of wolves. A must for any lover of wolves, and of great importance also to those who don't understand them so well. Finally the veil of fear and distrust is lifted, and we see the wolf as it truly is.
