Excerpt from Metascience Foundation publication (704-524-5103)

Title page from "The Ghost of 29 Megacycles" by John G. Fuller (is that the guy who did those gold tooth fillings by prayer/ laying on of hands? )

Title page form "Voices of the Dead?' by Susy Smith.

Articles from Unlimited Horizons, Newsletter of Metascience Foundation Spring 1987, Summer 1987.

Excerpt from Extraordinary Science magazine Oct/Nov/Dec 1989 (High Energy Enterprises, PO Box 5636, Security CO 80931 USA) (particularly interesting, article by Warren York; schematics, scalar technology)

Of course books by Konstantin Raudive and Peter Bander may be added to such a breif list and I also have "The Dead Are Alive" by Harold Sherman.

...Of course here is a place to be more respectful of the integrity of what you conjure... those otherwoldly ones are nothing to p*ss off IMHO... ...

(As to purpose, of course if life were like Star Trek, once you have 'em on the communicator, it's ALOT easier to get 'em in the transporter...) Hmmm...

Peace!

Subject: Re: Powerless Magic

Hello.

Just kibbitzing.

Of my own intrepretation of The Abyss (I believe for every personal occurance there is also an impersonal occurance connected to the standardized use of the reference) is something more like a stage after one's life, sort of like a quantum well or something that is to account for the reluctancy of spirit to simply and automatically recorporeorate in accordance with will.

This easily stands to become an issue in reincorporeations of the induced sort such as Palingenics. But I think Alchemists may have layered on a few more of a set of standardized connotations.

*Powerless magic* for some reason makes me think of occultism with the abdication of power and even the theoretical absence of need to initiate change, being the provence of Deity: "Let God/dess..." is the expression that comes to mind. I wonder if any of us who regard such a *system* are consistent in that? I think it's a good topic...

Just my opinion, and my ever-nagging questions...

Peace!

Subject: Pop-Tarts: The Final Frontier

Hello.

You guessed it, I actually bought Lawrence M. Krauss' "The Physics of Star Trek", since I finally found it in-stock and in paperback.

Plenty of interesting fodder for ecohypertechnopagan (that's me, I think) conversation. Of course the "inertial dampening" feild seems to already exist as an impediment to the integrity and optimism of people like this...

...I mean the very subject implies a Mastery of Gravity in the first place...

The word, REPLICATOR does NOT appear in the index, outside of a brief explanation why materialized food doesn't taste quite like real food... boo, hiss!

Nice paranoia fodder to wonder why there is so little in this area. But alas, what is magic if not the Will to Refuse To Submit and to Transform and Elevate the Unsatisfactory and Unlikely?

Nearly ready to turn in my Star Fleet badge and uniform and embark on perfecting my Klingon curses...

Chronos the Chritical,

Peace!

Subject: Magickal Trinketness

Hi Hi Hi

One other sub-adventure almost worth writing home about. Granted my negativity in this area may be natures way of keeping me from spending the rent money on copious magical paraphernalia, what with the cost of a mere shadow of an education to boot...

...but amongst the overpriced Magical Icon trinkets that seem to infest jewelry stores these days with the same fervor as Xtian "Put JESUS on anything and they'll but it" marketing...

There were several peices of meaning that cast a tiny shadow of enrichment onto a potenially shallow and meaningless exercise in conspicuous consumption...

...strangely one of the ones most eloquent was a simple peice of carved, in a curved dagger shape with the broad end squared. It'll get all the way back to petroglyphs of *She Who Watches*, trust me...

And I don't know how a psychotelemetrist is supposed to even touch them without chundering, but there were some snake vertebrae beads that displayed various resemblances to the floral features of the family Labiatae/ Lamiaceae, the mint family. Potentially, this is also worth some thousands of words to the ecclectic naturalist/ signaturist.

There was also one with a Goddess who is Literally and Graphically a doorway. Just another Janus, really, but the angularity of the reference enfolds voluminous whispers as well, the mark of authenticity inspiration...

...Granted also it may be virtually impossible for any of us with Capricorn in their charts to even concieve of beauty as a purpose in itself. Rather, "it's where did it come from, what third world nation's citizens got underpaid, did the animal die of natural causes... blah, woof"

...And having banged the crap of out my watch just moving boxes, how is anyone who actually works with the earth supposed to keep this stuff in one peice for half an hour anyway? I'd think the first prerequisite for magical adornments is that they be amulets of invulnerability just to protect Themselves... or you may not wear them with impunity during some of the most sacred acts of all...

...sigh...

...Although hopefully hidden somewhere in this post is a magickal signpost set for some of the greater household achievements of persons of the dim and distant past who for some *peculiar* reason never heard the call of the mother of invention to inspire them toward modern window glass, (even amongst the outright legends of the skills of Ancient Egyptians...) just like our beloved but-ever-so- evasive Uncle Al... and probably some stuff so secret I don't even know I'm saying it...

No fun at all, yet paradoxically,
Cheers!
Your resident cantankerous optimist,

Peace!

Subject: The Essential Campion

Hello.

Added to the libretto also *The Essential Campion" a collection of works by Thomas Campion. (=Campian) selected by Charles Simic, published by Ecco press, New York, c. 1988.

I wasn't even even aware it was in print (maybe it isn't) but Auntie's bookstore in Spokane put out a stack of them just recently. Don't know if they do mail order, but anyway, some remnants are apparently still around. They do have a toll free # I think.

Previous discussion on Campion centered around the particular elements of his poetry reflecting possible initiation and pagan perroguetives, although scanning the work he seems to suffer also what ails the Golden Dawn's luminary, Yeats, i.e. sometimes his poetry might just be poetry, barring a rather Empedoclean use of *love* or the allusion to *strife*.

I'm keen on thinking things like *Thrice Toss These Oaken Ashes* is a rather insightful illumination of Palingenics, in regards to these works. The one in particular reminds me of the invocation of seemingly same that appears in an epigram of Kallimachos ("By Pan!...).

Of course, I *do* tend to suffer from wishful thinking... why, last night, I had *Alice in Wonderland* pegged as a perfect allegory for wormhole generation and management... and that was just the first chapter...

...Yea rarely doth Urania shine, as when men will speak of the Stars...

Sheesh! :-)
Peace!

Subject: Resurfacing Part 4: Electro-Accretion

Hello!

Beside my apology in general that that section I of that book I thought I was writing is probably pretty eccentric just before the mushy part, now that I think about it, I'm having to apologize for another error, Electro-Accretion, electroplating minerals onto wire skeletons from sea water, is the brainchild of WOLF H. Hilburtz, not "Wulf" Hilburtz. At the time he was a professor of architecture at the Univerity of Texas.

Again, this is mentioned on the Waves Forrest site I recently posted, but for further reference:

1.Patent # 4, 246, 075 Jan 20, 1981
2.Article from IEEE Journal on Oceanic Engineering, VOL. OE-4, No. 3, July 1979 pp 94-?
3.Article from "Next" (magazine) Mar/April 1980 ?
4.Article from Telegraph/ Sunday Magzine #227, Feb.1 1981 pg ?
5. others
Not terribly magickal... Yet, that is :-) ... looks like still a few twists that can be tacked on even in the *mundane mundane* as well... Hmmmm...

Peace!
