When we study Magick, any kind, we must start from the Basics. Here's a little preview of what we'll be discussing about:
Basics of Magick
Visualization. Visualization is the starting point of any magickal work. When you are trying to accomplish something through magick, you must first visualize what you want. Visualize it so good you can actually see any details as if it was physically in front of you. And then hold that image while you work with it. You can’t work on a general idea or some vague concept and expect it to materialize, just like that. No. Magick is all in your mind. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, it’s just where it starts. If you can’t visualize it properly, it’s very likely it will stay there, in your imagination. So here is where you start your training. We will try to give you tricks and exercises for you to develop this ability, and get you started in your search for true Magick.
Meditation Meditation is a technique that will provide many benefits, the main ones are relaxation and recharging energy. We use the energy obtained through meditation, along with visualization techniques, to work Magick.
After you get some practice on the basics, we'll start applying them on practical Magick works. We'll see how you can use the natural energy of the Earth for your Magick.
There is a very special step to be accomplished first, thopugh. It is called initiation. Initiation is more than just a ceremony, it is like marriage: you are making a lifetime commitment. Right after the initiation, your life is different and it will never be the same. Some things can't be un-done. Once you make the commitment, you become something else: a witch, how effective is up to you; but yo better be good because... well, It ain't Kansas anymore.
We will analyse a lot of myths and legends from different countries about natural beings like Elementals, Fairies, Chaneques and many others, comparing similarities that are independent of time, place and cultures. We will contact some of them and learn to work with them.
