This section is due to be the largest section on the site... However... due to it's size it is taking much longer than I expected to construct... delaying the addition of the witchcraft section of the site (which is rather large as well)
The following are some of the topics that will eventually be featured here... If there is a link up... Then that section is ready for viewing... but does not nessecarily mean that it is finished...
Introduction
"Vampires are Forever" Quote from- The Vampire Book: by J. Gordon Melton
Orgins of the Name
The first written form of the word that later became known as "vampire" was acutually upir, a Russian word for the creature. However, upir was not the correct spelling of the word, but rather upyr as the correct Russian spelling.
The Serbian use of the word is vampyr though in some regions it was also miscorrectly spelt "vampir" by English journalists.
Although in the 18th century both spellings were widely used, it was the incorrect spelling that became popular and continued to spread.
Due to this incorrection, and the spread of it's use, the word which would actually be spelt "vampyre" has become commanly known as "vampire" ...However... I refuse to further spread this mis-use of the word and the spelling, so unless I am otherwise quoting a title with the inappropriate spelling, all use of the word shall be spelt with a "y" on this site.
NOTE: All names of movies, stories, books, survey's etc. And all other proper nouns have been left entirely as they are spelt and documented... I am only changing the "i" to a "y" on words that are my own... I am by no way changing the spellins of words of others...
So... When thou dost see the occasional document or title spelt with a 'y' that is how they spelt it... Proving I am not the only one to know the correct and logical spelling of the word...

I will not prove or disprove these things, not because I can't, but because I won't.

NOTE:This section of the site has not been added to in quite some time, and though I do have plans to complete it, it will be completed on the new server where the entire Andromeda site is being moved. I can not give specific dates at this time. Due to the amount of traffic these inactive pages still pull in, I shall leave the pages up until the move is complete, at which time links will be placed leading to the new site location.
