Speaker Biographies


Archbishop Luigi Accogli (Times To Be Announced)
Archbishop Luigi Accogli was Papal Nuncio for over 50 years and in service of the Pope in Papal diplomacy from 1963-1993 (China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Mimania, Syria, Venezuela and Ecuador). He has always defended civil rights for the citizenry regardless of the country and its political system. Archbishop Accogli has a personal relationship with the Holy Father, John Paul II and is familiar with the visionary Mirna of Damascus. He plans to open an ecumenical center in Rome that will focus on the Eucharist.

David Parkes (Times To Be Announced)
Well known Irish singer who suffered for 12 years with bowel disease. Following 10 surgeries and medical failure he was healed in Medjugorje while being prayed over by Fr. Rookey.

Wayne Weible (Times To Be Announced)
A former newspaper publisher, columnist, and devout Lutheran, converted to Catholicism along with his wife after being inspired by the Blessed Mother to evangelize the word of God via the messages of Medjugorje to all faiths.

Fr. Mitchell Pacwa, S.J. (Times To Be Announced)
Fr. Mitchell Pacwa, S.J. entered the Society of Jesus in 1968 and was ordained a priest in 1976. He received his doctorate in Old Testament from Vanderbilt University. He has been engaged in apologetics on television, radio & in live debates; he has frequently taught Sacred Scripture on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), treating the Psalms, Proverbs, Prophets, the Patriarchal Narratives, and a study of Justification in Scripture. He is the author of two books, Catholics and the New Age (Servant Press) and Father, Forgive Me, For I Am Frustrated (Servant Press) as well as a monthly editorial in the National Catholic Register. He is an assistant professor of Sacred Scripture with the Institute of Religious and Pastoral Studies at the University of Dallas.

A humorous Catholic lay evangelist renders heartwarming testimonies proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ across the U.S. She and her husband have been foster parents for 16 years and have shared their home with approximately 50 children.

Fr. William McCarthy (Times To Be Announced)
Fr. Bill has been giving parish missions for more than 10 years and has spoken at over 200 parishes in Connecticut and New England. In the past several years, he has been asked to speak in parishes and at Conferences across the United States. He has a special gift for showing God's love for each person. Through his teachings, love, acceptance and joyful encouragement, his missions are healing and inspiring. He is the Co-founder and Co-director of My Father's House Retreat Center in Moodus, CT, where he also gives weekend retreats. His TV program, In His Name, is presented weekly in Connecticut on 18 Public Access channels and also in the Boston diocese. Fr. Bill is a memeber of the Missionaries of Holy Apostles (MSA), located in Cromwell, Connecticut.

Lola Falana (Times To Be Announced) At age 16 she danced in Dinah Washington's night club; became a lead dancer in Sammy Davis Jr.'s smash hit, "Golden Boy" and toured with Sammy internationally, starred in T.V. specials for ABC, and began a recording career in Las Vegas. In 1987, she developed M.S. with paralysis on her left side. After giving her life to God in 1975 and through prayer, she felt the power of the Lord which resulted in a miraculous restoration of muscle mobility and complete healing. Back to Speaker List



Gianna Talone Sullivan (Times To Be Announced)
Gianna is a recent mother and holds a PhD in pharmacology. The Blessed Mother has been appearing and delivering messages to her since 1987. Jesus appeared to Gianna in 1988 and she has been transcribing HIS lessons for the world recorded in 5 volumes, "I Am Your Jesus of Mercy". The Blessed Mother appeared to Gianna during the 96, 98, & 99 Pittsburgh Conferences.

Gerry Faust (Times To Be Announced)
The 24th head football coach at Notre Dame. In one of the NFL pre-season training camps he had 38 players on the rosters from teams that he had coached in highschool and college. Gerry is very devoted to the Blessed Mother and prays the Rosary daily and lectures on the need for daily devotion to Our Lord in every avenue of life.

Fr. Andrew Apostoli (Times To Be Announced)
Ordained by Bishop Sheen, Fr. Apostoli is active in teaching, preaching, retreats, parish missions, and giving spiritual direction; former director for the Spiritual Development for Diocese of New York, he is also the author of several books . He has appeared on EWTN hosting several series of religious, biblical and historical topics.

Fr. Robert Faricy, S.J. (Times To Be Announced)
Father Faricy is Emeritus Professor of Spirituality at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and author of many books and articles on theology, spirituality, and philosophy. Father Faricy celebrates monthly Masses for the sick in Rome with very high attendance. He spends much of his time in the United States; his American Jesuit community is at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
