The fire station at the Lisbon Airport is manned by a special team of RSB firefighters. The vehicles and the building at the Airport Fire Station are owned and paid for by the Portugeese National Airport Authority (ANA). Technically, the Airport Fire Station is known as an "outposted RSB station". The regular RSB station which is located 1/4 mile from the airport main gate has a Crash Tender which is used for airfield responses and for calls at some nearby industrial areas.
