Synopsis: During the 1 year association with AdventNet, I have been part of different functional and disciplinary teams of AdventNet’s Web NMS and OpManager Products as a developer, QA and analyst with varied experience including development, technical support, software testing, product marketing and presales consulting. The AdventNet’s flagship product, Web NMS, is a customizable, carrier-class, cross platform management platform product for building network, systems and application management applications. Customer list of Web NMS includes Motorola, Nortel Networks, Lucent Technologies, Arris Corporation, Corvis, UTStarcomm Inc., Fujitsu and several others.
OpManager is a customized version of Web NMS that aims and ensuring high availability and performance of Enterprise Network by providing proactive and reactive fault and performance monitoring. Customer list of OpManager includes New York Times, US Army Avia missile division, Turner Broadcasting and several others.
Currently designated as Member Technical Staff and playing the role of Solution Consultant in OpManager Customer Activated Response Team (CART) that provides technical assistance to the field sales.

Developed the GVF Factory the core of the NMS’s Graphical View Framework. The Factory is responsible for choosing and creating the best possible graph based for the input data. It also handles painting the graph on the Java UI.

Developed the Current and Collected Statistics modules of the Web NMS NG framework. As the sole owner of the module development I was responsible for collecting and displaying the current performance counters of a network node on a users screen. The data was to persisted in the DB and retrieved and displayed as a graph whenever necessary.
- Unit tested the features created by me and also wrote test cases and test procedures to test features developed by other developers.
