PROJECTS

2003 - 2002
~  Designed a completely new model for Operating Systems Development and implemented the same in real mode using a combination of C and assembly language as part of a 4 member team.
~  A protocol server and client libraries that use the protocol as part of a two-member team. The server runs on Linux and is capable of handling multiple clients of different types on different platforms.
~  A simulation of Mortal Kombat 4 using Java as part of a two-member team. Mortal Kombat is a fast two-player action game that dominated the games market in the 1990s.

2002-2001
~  A Text to Speech Engine with synchronized facial animation for Indian Languages as part of a 4-member team. The application transliterates English blocks to respective letters in the Indian languages based on the loaded language file, and reads the transliterated text.
~  A prototype for a Stock Brokers Accounts Management program from the requirements specification provided by Sixth Sense Software and Securities Consultancy Services Private Limited.
~  A graphics editor called for DOS that can open 16 color bitmaps (a format accepted by most graphics editors including MS Paint) and perform operations such as pattern spray and pattern fill in addition to the usual functions. http://www.oocities.org/emage2003

Miscellaneous
~  Various websites including one for GVDTS (Golden Valley Development for Talent in Software), the college software club. Also developed many flash movies and other multimedia elements to support the websites.
~  Designed and simulated an automated car parking system as a member of PPR.

ACHIEVEMENTS
~  Treasurer of the IEEE Student Chapter (2002), GVIT.
~  Project Leader of Team Alpha in GVDTS (Golden Valley Development for Talent in Software), the software club of GVIT. Was the highest scorer in the selection for club membership.
~  Selected for PPR 2001, and qualified for Module-2. PPR (PESIT Placement Re-engineering) is a course conducted by PES Institute of Technology for top-level students of the Visveswaraiah Technological University.
