CONRAD BENNISH, JR
Conrad Bennish Jr is much like his other genius, pot smoking counterparts. He, unlike some of his crazier doubles has never built an atomic bomb, or ratted out the Sliders to the Kromaggs. The Bennish in USM is much like the Bennish from Quinn Mallory's EP, except at the age of twenty two he was captured by the Kromaggs.
For several years he was a Kromagg slave on Kromagg Outpost Earth, 83. He stayed there until tried to help free some strangers, Gemmin, WA, Shelbs and Lexie escape the Kromaggs. He was then taken the Kromagg flagship.
Bennish lost many things to the Kromaggs, his eyes, his parents, his best friend, Quinn Mallory, his favourite professor, Arturo, and the girl he had a crush on, Wade Welles.
Bennish was kept in solitary confinment for months, until the woman named Gemmin was brought to his cell. They became fast friends, despite their age difference. Gemmin promised Bennish that her friends, the ones he had helped escape, would come and rescue them.
Bennish heard many stories about Gemmin's friends and hoped to meet them. Lexie, Shelbs and Mina sounded like strong and beautiful women, like the Wade of his earth had been.
Bennish tried to hide his grief for his dead crush, and would hide behind hsi drug addiction, which made him stupider than he should have been. He had the ability to be one of the greatest physicist of all time, but he gave it up to smoke pot.
Bennish also looked forward to meeting WA, a younger double of Maximilian Arturo. Arturo had secretly alway been Bennish's favourite professor, and he missed him terribly.
Bennish and Gemmin were saved when Gemmin's friend, along with Justin Warren came to the flagship to save Mina Skywalker, who had been captured by two Dark Side users, Jason Warren and Alex Starkiller and the Kromagg Jke'Gad. Gemmin and Bennish happily joined the Rifters.
Bennish eventually got replacement eyes and was finally able to see his friends. He developed fast crushes on Mina, who to his disappointment, was in love with Justin Warren, and Logan St. Clare and Quinn Mallory's slightly clumsy double, Nekka Mallory. Bennish also became fast friends with Justin's brother, Jason.
Bennish is the bane of WA's life. Thought when Bennish was thought dead WA truely missed him. The truth is Bennish and WA are good friends, thought neighter one would ever admit it.
The first slide Bennish went on with the Rifter's he ended up on a world conquered by the Kromaggs. The next slide he went on was a world where the polar ice caps had melted and everything was underwater. Bennish was stranded on this earth, when he saved Lexie and Gemmin. But an Arturo double, the real Arturo, left behind on the Azure Gate Bridge world . Bennish returned to his friends, who thought he was dead.
Bennish also was thrown in jail, along with Mina and Nekka on Wild West Earth, where Mina had to try and seduce a Justin double to get out.
Bennish is going to keep sliding. It is quite a ride, and there's nobody better to party with than the Rifters.
