I have always been fascinated with cemeteries ever since I was very young. My father and I used to dig for old bottles in many of the woods and forests of Southern and Central New Jersey. As we wandered around the properties of old farms we would come across old forgotten family burial sites.

In more recent years I had become a family historian for the Irwin side of my family. I started frequenting cemteries in search of family burial plots and stones. In the past few years I have become a bit of a photographer and my interest grew in taking pictures of churches - Many of these churches were/are situated in graveyards. Before I knew it I was making and taking photos in the burial grounds.
