I was once a young Egyptian student in Alexandria when Mobius came over the maelstrom bridge. Many, perhaps all, of my friends were wiped out during the invasion, but somehow I escaped into the desert, where I wandered hungry and ill for days. Just as I was about to give up all hope, I was found and rescued by Hippolyta Kosmos and the women she was taking to Hespera to rekindle the flame of the Amazons.
On Hespera, my sisters and I developed amazing powers! The strange reality that accompanied Mobius' invasion has made all the old Earth legends true. As long as the great Noble Flame burns, I am stronger than any normal man.
Hippolyta and my sisters have isolated Hespera. They hope to avoid attracting Mobius' attention and plan to live the rest of their lives in peacful neutrality. But not me! I can't stop thinking about my homeland and all the friends I have lost, and may still have. One night when all my sisters were asleep, I built a raft and sailed back to Egypt, where I plan to use my new abilities against Mobius.
During my trek back I came about a beautiful injured hawk. With nothing to hurry me, I stopped to nurse the injured bird to health. During that time, I realized I could communicate with him. We started a friendship, and he is still with me today, as my faithful companion.
I am cautious and peace-loving, but I am not afraid to fight, and I can handle myself rather well in physical confrontations.
