Funeral Services for Mrs. Josephine Bilz 85, will be conducted by W. A. Brown & Son Funeral home
today at noon in the Chapel of the Chimes  (followed by interment in Ingelwood Cemetery. A native of Wiltenburg, Germany, Mrs. Bilz had lived in California for 39 years. and died at her home 2526 Lucerne Ave..on Wednesday. She leavestwo daughters. Mrs. Eda Potts and Mrs. Lloyd V. Thorkelson, a son Hugo Bilz; Two sisters, Mrs. Anita M Nelson and Mrs. Rosco E Miller. Three grandchildren and one great grand child.

Services for Walter H Engstrom, 54, building contractor, will be conducted today  at 1 p.m.  at  W. A. Brown & Son funeral Home, followed by interment in Rosedale Cemetery. Born in Concord, NH he came to Southern California 37 years ago and lived at 4117 Coolidge Ave, Culver City. He died Wednesday while visiting at Lakeview Ore.  He leaves his widow Josephine; a son Wally, two sisters, Mrs. Ned Sherlock and Agnes Humphrey.
