Hello My great grand father Herbert John Franklin Heley was born in 1878 in Castlemaine Victoria. He came to New Zealand about 1883. He died 28 May 1958 aged 80 at Purnell, Auckland and was an Ex-serviceman and Music Teacher. On his death cert his father Charles a plumber , mother just Mary . He married Isabelle Young born 1876 and still living aged 82 (she died 24 Dec 1960 at hospital, dau of Catherine Regan and John Charles Young, having fallen and broken her femur at home 9 weeks earlier), and had 5 children named Herbert Alfred....Walter Charles...Mary Adele.....Dorothy and Leonie (on Death Cert only ages, males 51 and 45, females 53, 52 and 47).
I have been searching for his ancestors for about 2 years. Do you think this might be him. have sent attachments.
Elizabeth Ruth wed John Joshua Langridge and died aged 57 in 1933, buried at Otane Cemetery
Mary Adele wed Hugh Page and died a widow, 10 Sep 1940 aged 64, buried at East Takaka (Golden Bay Ward) Cemetery Any help would be great. Thanking you
