William GAPPER I believe came from Bruton Somerset born 1793 son of Robert GAPPER & Hannah WHITE. He had a brother Richard White GAPPER who had a son Thomas. This Thomas GAPPER settled in NZ.

The Barden you are looking for is: Patrick Joseph Barden born 1st April 1888 to Patrick Joseph Barden and Barbara Allen Barden (nee Taylor) he was the the third child of this couple. Patrick Joseph Barden (Jnr) died in 1954, he married Lillian May Gapper and had three sons.
