His name is also romanized as:
Hao Hong / Hao Lien Ru / Hao Lian You / Hao Lin Yu / Huo Lin Jue (Korean pronunciation)
Born in 1864, he lived at the Miaohou village, Mu Ping county (Shandong Province).
Since his childhood he started training Luo Han Quan, but later he became a student of Mei Hua Tang Lang Quan under shifu Liang Xue Xiang. Shifu Jiang Hua Long descendants mention that shifu Hao Lian Ru also learnt under him. Shifu Hao Lian Ru was friend with shifu Wang Rong Sheng from the Seven Stars system. Therefore it is supposed they exchanged praying mantis techniques.
Shifu Hao Lian Ru was the first in the Hao family to acquire the Mei Hua Tang Lang Quan system, and with him starts the "Hao Jia (Hao Family)" branch of Mei Hua Tang Lang Quan.
Shifu Hao Lian Ru establish the martial arts school "Hao Hong", a well-known school all over Shandong Province at that time.
Shifu Hao Lian Ru had five sons and he transmited them their knowledge. He passed away in 1914.
