Introduction This site is dedicated to providing information and increasing awareness about Homeopathy .The Homeopathic system of medicine is over 200 years old and originated in Germany. It is now practiced in over 80 countries. The year 1796 is considered to be the year of the birth of Homeopathy. Homeopathy was founded by a German physician Dr.Samuel Hahnemann. Hahnemann first coined the word "homeopathy" ("homoios" in Greek means similar, "pathos" means suffering) to refer to Homeopathy’s first pharmacological principle - “Similia Similibus Curentur” or “ The Law of Similars”. This means that a remedy that produces symptoms in a healthy person will cure those same symptoms when manifested by a person in a diseased state. Today Homeopathy is widely prescribed by physicians all over the world and has been practiced in the United States for over 170 years. It is the medicine preferred by the members of the Royal Family in England, In the U.K 40%of MDs refer their patients to homeopaths . Besides the entire British Royalty Homeopathic Medicine has been endorsed by Mahatma Gandhi , John .D.
