Badlesmere Black as Night of Kehlibar

Here are some photos of Gilbert. As you can see he is not an Anatolian, but an English Bull Terrier. He is a valued member of our family and I thought he deserved a mention!

Gilbert

Gilby came to live with us at 7 months of age as a rescue.  He is our first Bull Terrier and we had no idea what to expect, and we didn't really do our research on the breed either, so taking him into our family was a real challenge!!

Gilby started going to Headly Ringcraft Association in Hampshire shortly after he came to live with us, and took part in many matches all over the district, also taking Best In Match on one occasion!  He was also shown lightly at Bull Terrier Club Shows, Open Shows and Championship Shows.  Although he enjoys the attention, showing isn't really 'his thing', and so now is a couch potato at home with us in Cornwall.

From day one, he spent his whole day at Natalka's with Anatolians while I was at work, and later on, shared his home with Anatolians too,  as well as sharing the small boot of my car with Mussy (asd), on our numerous 4 hour drives to Cornwall when we were looking for a house!!

Although I have covered some health issues on my site about Anatolians, I have not been able to cover any health topics about Bull Terriers, mostly due to being new to the breed, and still learning myself! I have found some very interesting information on Caliber Bull Terriers web site to which I would advise a visit!! (See Links).
