This book begins with a discussion of the two William Harvey's who were living in Boston around 1640, then traces the descendants of one of them, the William Harvey who married Martha Copp and died at Boston in 1658. The John Harvey of the title was from this line, and fought in the Revolutionary War. Some allied lines include: Batchelder, Berry, Colby, Copp, Currier, Fifield, Merriam, Piper, Sargent, Treat and Tuxbury.
