Vista da Baía
Owned by an American immigrant and the reason why everyone travels so far to go there is because he serves some of the best barbecued chicken with large pieces of garlic bread and french fries, all surrounded by the breathtaking and quiet environment of Varadouro, at about 40 minutes drive from Horta. On the outside a hut covers the wooden benches but there are also tables and a TV set indoors. Don't miss it, if not for the food then go for the view. Closed on Thursdays.
