Exhibit Overview

The Star Wars artifact exhibit occupied a total of about 6,000 square feet of floor space. The exhibit primarily consisted of 28 themed glass display cases that were spread out over six rooms. The exhibitors thoughtfully filled up all of the rest of the available wall space with dozens of framed pictures containing various original concept and production artwork, as well as many storyboards. The exhibit was also arranged so that as you walked through the exhibit you would transition in a logical way from Star Wars to The Empire Strikes Back to Return of the Jedi.

Below are a series of wide angle pictures that documented the exhibit in a general way from a number of vantage points taken throughout the exhibit. VP stands for Vantage Point. The location and angle of each vantage point, pictured in red, is noted below on an exhibit layout diagram which I recorded while I was visiting the exhibit. The display cases, shaded in blue, each contain a display case number. Each number matches a number below the diagram which lists all of the contents of that particular display case.
