To check out weather updates check out my Alaska page regularly. My sister thought I should have something 'catchy'. I tried to tell her that there aren't any Igloos around here--FACT--Igloos are often associated with Alaska Eskimos, but in fact, igloos are a type of housing used by Canadian Eskimos. Eskimo hunters in Alaska occasionally use temporary snow shelters for emergency housing during storms I have attempted to make a location that will be beneficial for all Web Wanderers. Whether you are new at Internet travels, or have been around since the beginning of the Internet Highway, I hope, you will find this spot is one you would like to return to. I have come a long way from my first attempt to just "Get a Page Up". I keep adding pages to this site. They will be, I hope beneficial to others and will also tell you something about me. I lived in Alaska, I liked the snow, the 24 hours of daylight in the summer, the wildlife in our yard , miles and miles of 'nothing' except trees. I work for the Federal Government as a Computer Specialist, and have recently moved back to the lower 48, but have so many 'good' memories that I felt it necessary to keep up the Alaska information. I can lose myself on the Internet--I am referring to a lot of hours on the computer-My Children are raising children of their own. My husband and I have "fur children" around our house now. I am interested in anything that has to do with computers. I hope my pages will help you in your attempt to express your likes and dislikes to others. Sign Guestbook View Guestbook
