If you've never been to a Jack Russell Terrier trial, you are in for a treat.  It is like going to a two-day tailgate party!  Everyone pulls up in their SUV or specially equipped van and sets up their tents, x-pens and dogs and then the socializing begins.  The JRT trial consists of conformation of course, but also includes racing, go-to-ground, agility, obedience, etc.  We love to go to trials, and have met many folks that we have become great friends with.  It is a good way to spend time with your dogs and to be involved with other folks who share your interest in this wonderful little terrier.   As a breeder, it is a way for us to have our terriers put up along side everyone else's to get an idea if our breeding program is headed in the right direction.  A nice ribbon at the end of the day really means something at one of these shows.  Here are some trial photos.....

of ours is standing next to him with her bitch Fern.

Looks like Lenox had a good day!
