MARANGUAPE , the beautiful city where I was born,
Restleded into a green valley
At birth it helped me in fire occasions
Oh! What happiness!
I arrived in town

Ides of March 1958
Brought me all smilles
And soon everebory noticed my adroit way

My name spread everywhere
To apease the impetus at a horified nun
She told me to grow up

Under the banner at sheer curiosity
In my youth I climbed mountains
I heard the cry of nature
I had to protect such wealth

In my school days I never understood the chemical formula of the butane gas,
At the high school I only could understood the most popular ballad singer Caetano Veloso,
That way and without delay
Our Lady helped me

Mirian appeared into my life
Teacher Mirian
Diversified myself in the arts
Changing them in my bulwark

Then I decided to teaching children
It seem to me a logical way and soon
I guided pre-school children
I overjoyed all the admiring glances

Suddendly , some odd thing happens
It is the first love which blossoms
But, God's wishes were against my desires
And that wonderful boy died soon

For the ones who wonder me
My way to tell stories
I am someone wishing to grow up
In this world painted by Monet
