Regina von Arx was born on February 4 in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Writer and plastic artist, she became interested in poetry at the age of 17, when she started to write her first book, named "À flor da pele" (Sensibility).
Fond of freedom, if she weren't a woman, she would be an eagle, floating above her dreams. Pursuing her dreams, in 1987 she moved to Switzerland, where she started dedicating body and soul to the art. Regina lives in Basel since 17 years.
Thus her work is quite futuristic, such as the artist. Regina describes her work as "The song of the soul", whose lyrics return to our mind when dedicating ourselves to the regeneration of our spirit.
She has participated in 3 exhibits and three of her books have been published: À flor da pele (Sensibility), Espelhos (Mirrors) and Vícios (Vices).
Feeling bothered with the social differences in her country, her purpose of life is a project on Assistance for Destitute Children. Homepage: www.vonarx-arts.ch
Love has been and will always be "The Goose With the Golden Eggs" in my life ". Love was my means of transportation. When I came to Switzerland, the bonds with my origin were cut; my native instincts were subordinate to an other culture, providing me the opportunity to be reborn, and to assume my character in the stage of life. While working, I discovered "The woman that lives at the end of the world" in me, in a world that has no end; the one who is ready to hear the talk from soul. Important is that we will rescue the she-wolf woman that exists inside each one of us, because she will give us force to revive the song from the soul inside of us, whose words come back to our minds when we dedicate ourselves to regenerate our spirit, in order to be able to fight the selfishness "social cancer".
