This web site is designed for use by boards of education, school administrations, teachers, parents, students and community members seeking a better understanding of abandoned mine drainage and watershed education. An interdisciplinary approach to watershed education is being developed to focus on the academic standards in the areas of Environment and Ecology mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
