Little Shelter Animal Rescue in Huntington, NY has cared for abandoned and homeless animals for nearly 75 years. Our animal friends desperately need your help!
While we have all suffered immeasurably from the unspeakable events of September 11th, the more than 300 dogs, cats, puppies & kittens in our care are in jeopardy. For the first time in our history, we face the very real possibility of having to close Little Shelter's doors.
We are entirely funded by contributions, but now, due to recent tragic events, donations have become dangerously low. We cannot continue to care for our animals with the current resources available.
We know that these are difficult times for us all. But if you could find it in your hearts to send just one dollar to Little Shelter, or whatever you can afford, our animals can continue to live and be adopted by loving families. If enough people care, our animals and our shelter will survive.
