Benefits of Membership

The National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is a not-for-profit association whose membership includes over 20,000 acquisition professionals world-wide. We are committed to fostering the professional growth and educational advancement of our fellow members. Our membership includes those involved in acquisition, military procurement, contract management and many related purchasing activities - from the private sector, to government and academia. NCMA is a neutral forum, a place where ideas on all sides of issues can be presented, heard, and debated. NCMA offers nationally-recognized professional certifications in contracting.

Network

At our functions you will meet and interact with government employees, academicians, and private contractors in a relaxed, but stimulating environment. There is much to learn from other professionals. NCMA activities foster the friendly, free exchange of professional information.

Gain Knowledge

You will receive free, or at reduced prices, valuable publications with practical advice, information and news. NCMA's monthly magazine features articles and regular columns by some of the most knowledgeable acquisition professionals in the world. Our semi-annual journal contains a collection of articles dealing with policy, management and legal issues. Both are free to members. Our monthly bulletins feature in-depth analyses of important and timely topics, and members save half the price. Useful manuals and media covering specific aspects of contracting are also available from our educational products catalog.

Stay Current

If you need more than professional advice, our educational programs allow to get "up to speed" with contracting policies, methods, issues and opportunities. They permit you to maintain that edge by constantly updating you on the latest developments and thoughts in the public, academic, and private sectors. NCMA's workshops, seminars, and university-sponsored symposia give you the "biggest bang for your buck."

Get Certified

The Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) and Certified Associate Contract Manager (CACM) programs offer you the key to career advancement in many industries.
