Information about this branch of the family was provided by Miguel Mollica Conde, who lives in Buenos Aires.

This Argentinian branch of the Mollica family began in Messina, Sicily. The family owned an olive plantation in Messina, and emigrated to Naples, Italy shortly after the earthquake that struck Messina in 1908. Eventually the family emigrated to Argentina in 1923.
