What a wonderful reunion this must have been!
In 1990, Aunt Mary Mollica-Recenello wasn't well. Aunt Mary, a truly devoted, loyal Mollica, had been unable to attend the 50th wedding anniversary of her sister Anna and husband James Rzepecki. Having missed quite an important family celebration, Mary's daughter Louise and husband Paul Bingham decided to have a family picnic. Louise invited all of the Mollica family members that she could think of so that her mother could visit with all of her relatives.
The picnic was such a tremendous success that Louise summoned cousins Joe Rzepecki (Ann Mollica's son), and Tony Mollica (Jim Mollica's son) to contemplate an annual gathering. Thus, the origin of our Annual Mollica Reunion.
The continued extraordinary efforts and constant dedication of Louise, Joe, and Tony each year gives our family many cherished memories. We thank you Louise, Joe, and Tony.
