Lady Asano Designs specializes in the creation of 'one-of-a-kind' and limited circulation designs for needlepoint and other needlecraft arts. LAD creates both original designs and designs based upon customer specifications. Design products can consist of artwork only, ready to work layouts for a variety of uses (pillows, wall hangings, scrolls, etc.), painted canvases, or complete needlepoint kits (including instructions, materials, and access to online help).

Many of our designs have a Japanese motif or embody the geometric simplicity typical of Japanese crafts. As noted above, designs based around a customer's specific needs (size, color scheme, theme, etc.) can be accomodated. We welcome your inquiries.

This is an example of the type of designs available from Lady Asano Designs. As with many of our products, this has a decidedly Japanese motif. It is, in fact, a thought ("Protector") expressed in kanji and surrounded by a knot pattern derived from a family crest in the classic style reminiscent of the Shogunate era in Japan. The design can be provided with a number of different, but equally compatible color schemes to meet your requirements. Such a piece is a work of art in itself and can be displayed proudly as such.

As with all Lady Asano Designs' products, the design is original. Unique, one-of-a-kind designs can be created for discerning customers, but exclusivity is commensurately expensive. However, even generally available designs can be expected to have limited distribution as Lady Asano Designs focuses on marketing to a small group of selected customers with the taste and skill to appreciate our work.
