SITTING BESIDE JESUS  Jesus said: “Look! I have been standing at the door and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with me. I will let everyone who conquers sit beside me on my throne, just as I took My Place with My FATHER on HIS Throne when I had conquered.

In 1989 Cathy and I began witnessing to other drivers over to road. Both of us had a vision and desire to share all of the Joy and Peace that we had found through Jesus Christ, giving truckdrivers and the unchurched an opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.. We used the Citizen Band Radio, (C.B.), ministering in the truck stops, over the road; wherever we happened to be. Our C.B. Handles are Papa Smurf and Carebear. We started sharing with the owners of the truckstops and began to establishes Chapels there. It was no wonder that these people often turn to the friendship and fellowship of many misguided women, drugs and crime. Our nations truck drivers work not only long hours but these are very lonely hours. The people in our nations trucking industry work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. There is barely a possibility that any of these people will be in any church on Sunday or Wednesday. If this not true there would be over three million additional people in church. Jesus gave us our commission to “Go and Teach all nations.....” If we can just touch a life and bring Salvation, Peace and Joy we will have done the same in our own lives. Jesus did not wait for the World to Come to Him but He went to the people. Every truckdriver just needs someone to give them an opportunity to sit beside Jesus. Now we are looking a placing portable chapels in the truckstops of our great nation.
