This site is devoted to Scircle Family Genealogy, and all the related families that make up a rich history that continues to be discovered.
 

My newest interest is the genealogy of the Scircle Family. I have been researching my family for three years, but with the help of my cousins, most who were discovered online, we have made major progress in discovering the Scircle family history.

John A. Scircle and I have been successfull in identifying John Circle as the son of Peter Circle, and thus connecting our great great grandfather, George Adam Scircle to his father, John Circle. It is through the George Adam Scircle-John Circle-Peter Circle that the Scircle-Circle-Zirkle connection has been made.
 

In the summer of 1994 we bought an old farmhouse located in Leavenworth, Kansas. The house was built in 1891, and is now within the city limits.

Other Hobbies and Interests: I like to bicycle, even in cold weather. I do watch the weather closely as it effects many of the activities I am interested in. I also am an avid reader, mostly the American Civil War and History. It was this love of the Civil War that sparked an interest in genealogy. I also hike and camp during the fall and winter. I teach 8th Grade American History and Physical Science at Leavenworth West Middle School. I am one of the founders of the Leavenworth Bicycle Club, and I edit and publish the club's newsletter "Buffalo Tales" and Ride Schedule. I enjoy watching auto racing, mainly American LeMans Sports Car Racing , which includes the most challenging race of all: the Lemans 24 Hour Sports Car Race, Formula One, NASCAR, and CART.
