Father

Happy Father's Day to my daddy dear

without whom I would not be here.

You helped to teach me wrong from right

and to lock the doors at night.

You laughed with me when I was glad

and cried with me when I was sad.

You help build model planes

and put together toy trains.

You take us to camps,

you fix all the lamps,

you give the lawn a nice nape

and keep the car in shape.

Whatever you do

you let me help you;

sometimes I get in the way and you get mad

but all-in-all you're a swell dad.

I wish you well on this special day

and I love you much - what more can I say?!
