Well, another new year is upon us. I hope you had a wonderful 2007 and will be blessed with an excellent 2008.

Wow, 37 years - where has the time gone. A lot has happened in our lives and in the world over the last 37 years, some good and some bad, but life continues to be pretty good. I find as I get older, I've really mellowed out the last few years (mellow, not lazy), find family and friends a lot more important than work (only two years until retirement), and find the simple (and free) things in life really enjoyable. And as I hate to admit it, I also find the things my folks would say or do, I am now saying and doing. If you really want to worry the kids, tell them they'll do the same one day :>)

I've made a couple changes to the Remembrance page. It's sad when I think of those who have passed away, but it was a blessing to have known them and to know that they made a difference in the world and in someone's life. We'll never forget them.
