MY STUDIO

If you have RealPlayer check out my video files.

If you don't have it you really ought to get RealPlayerPlus 5.0

Make sure to get the browser plug-in, too!

Welcome to my studio/study! This is where I maintain my corner of cyberspace. Actually, my study is both a physical place and a virtual one. My "real" study at home is where I do most of my web wandering, and my "virtual" study is wherever I happen to be at the time. I use a Packard-Bell 180 mHz Pentium minitower at home and a Toshiba 133 mHz Pentium notebook just about everywhere else! All machines are set up for Multimedia. If you're interested here's the Serious Geekage !

I like to work on graphics (using Macromedia xRes and a WACOM digitizing tablet). I record and edit audio with Voyetra Digital Orchestrator Plus.), and occasionally play around with electronic effects on my old Armstrong 3000 Alto Saxophone.

This is a little file I came up with recently. This was just playing around with the effects, but I liked it enough to save it! For a quick title I call it Morning.

I like to plink around on my Yamaha MIDI keyboard, but I'm coming to the piano kind of late to be any good at it (although I do have a pretty good tutorial software from MidiSoft).

Most of the music found on these pages is performed by others. Where appropriate, I'll cite copyrighted work. I'll sometimes have a grab shot of the view out the front window if there's anything interesting going on, but it's usually a quiet neighborhood.

Original still photography on these pages are either taken from my old negatives and video tapes, or scanned directly, with Snappy . Some of the stills and most of the .avi files were taken with a Color Quickcam . RealMedia video files captured from tape with my Matrox Rainbow Runner Studio. Other shots were taken with my Epson PhotoPC digital camera, or scanned from slides or prints with my Artec or HP scanner (WHEW!). Any photography by others will be acknowledged individually.

An interesting site with TONS of MIDI files and links to neat stuff is MIDIFARM .
