A quilt I made for my grandmother (who collects loons).
 

This is one of McKenna Ryan's Pine Needles patterns. These wall hangings employ fusible applique techniqe. I machine embroidered the edges of the elements, and machine quilted the piece.   (If you click on the picture, you can get a larger view of the quilt.)

 
Oregon Trail

Oregon Trail (also known as "Drunkard's Path" among other names) is a favorite of mine. This top is made with reproduction prints from the 1880s. I designed it on Electric Quilt software. There are four red squares in each corner--repeating the red bandana print of the "path" in the quilt.
