Will there be a Season 7?

A lot of talented, dedicated people worked hard on Seasons 5 and 6, and we're all very gratified that so many fans have enjoyed our efforts. We gave serious thought to another season, but ultimately decided against it. We had a number of very talented authors express interest in another season, and Kathy and I were tempted to continue. What made S5/S6 so special, however, was the elaborate continuity and extended storylines, and that sort of thing is very difficult to coordinate. Kathy shouldered most of that burden this year, and she's had enough. We didn't find anyone both willing and able to take over, so rather than see the quality of the series go downhill, we're going to end on a high note -- see "Stronger Than Me Alone", our series finale.

Of course, anyone who wants to can still pick up on S5/S6 continuity, if they choose, to write either a single story or a whole season. We'll even offer advice if it's wanted. But it would be a separate project, not an official continuation.

Thank you, everyone, for reading our seasons and encouraging us to continue. We appreciate every note we've gotten. And keep in mind that there are tons of excellent fanfic stories outside of S5/S6, at the L&C Fanfic Archive, with more being released all the time, so you'll still be able to get your L&C fix.
