In Loving Memory

Judith R. Dowd

December 15, 1964 - October 8, 1972

To my sister who is and always will be loved by all of her family now and until we meet again.

My sister was taken one fall day. She was so young. I was 15 and I remember that tragic day. She was killed when a truck not even driven by anyone rolled back on a small incline. It had been parked there with cinder blocks under the tires. From what we know, some kids must have been fooling around and removed them to see if the truck would hit the building. Well my sister was playing ball and the ball went near the truck and she bent to get it and she was crushed between the truck and the building. It was a freak accident.

I figured God needed a blond curly haired angel with a lot of spunk.

I Will Remember You

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

Remember the good times that we had?
I let them slip away from us when things got bad
How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun
Wanna feel your warmth upon me,
I wanna be the one

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I'm so tired but I can't sleep
Standin' on the edge of something much too deep
It's funny how we feel so much
but we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside,
but we can't be heard

But I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I'm so afraid to love you,
but more afraid to lose
Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose
Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light

And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Weep not for the memories
