  South Africa is the first country in the world to enshrine the equality and rights of gay and lesbian people in its constitution – we are truly the “Rainbow Nation”. Add to this the fact that South Africa is one of the most diverse (culturally and geographically) countries, it is surely one of the hottest holiday destinations around – a world in one country, as SATOUR says.

  Africa Outing is based in Africa’s gay capital, Cape Town, the GAYWAY to Africa! Cape Town also just happens to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, a cosmopolitan city strung between the cliffs of Table Mountain and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. It is often likened to San Francisco, Vancouver and Sydney (funny that!).

  We would love to help you plan your tour or safari – anywhere in South or Southern Africa! Not only can we put together STUNNING packages, we also offer car rental and airport transfers, and can make all your accommodation reservations as well.

  From people traveling on their own to couples and small groups (we prefer working with groups of not more than 10 people at a time) we offer tailor-made, personalized tours, meaning that either Jeremy or Steve accompanies each tour (where possible) to ensure that things run more than smoothly!

• All tours are led by either Steve or Jeremy, or by a gay SATOUR-registered driver-guide (hand-picked, of course!).

• Wherever possible, accommodations listed are either gay, or at worst, “gay-friendly”. Few establishments in South Africa would NOT be gay-friendly these days! Even in neighboring countries such as Namibia and Zimbabwe.
