This very good recording comes from a Dutch radio broadcast (complete with foreign D. J. going on about the band here and there). This is one of the later performances of The Man and The Journey, as most of the pieces (‘Green Is the Colour,’ ‘Cymbaline,’ etc.) were performed isolated after this. ‘Grantchester Meadows’ (aka ‘Daybreak’) features some harmonies from Waters and Gilmour and the whole tape reveals the many elaborate sound effects the Floyd had developed to enhance their shows. Easily one of the best pre-1970 recordings of the band.
