A large gas giant in the system of Kamino. There was a large battle going on between the Imperial army and the enemy. The battle was very spectacular. The Imperial army won the battle. The enemy had withdraw from the Kamino system and from the galaxy. Emperors Luke main starcruiser with his escort appeared in the system. Luke wanted to oversee personally the last battle against the enemy. He was satisfied. The whole galaxy was again under the control of the Imperial forces. But now was the question if they should pursue the enemy outside the galaxy. Luke was in favor of it, but the Imperial Senate would decide about it.
Emperor Luke, Supreme Chancellor Leia Organa, some Imperial commanders and senators had a consultation on Coruscant about the pursuit of the enemy outside the galaxy. The Imperial commanders were in favor of it. But the senators were mostly against it. For them it was enough that the Imperial army withdraw the enemy outside the galaxy and also the enemy was almost completely destroyed so there was no danger in the near future. They suggested the Imperial army should instead strengthen the protection of the boundaries of the Empire. Leia was strongly in favor of the pursuit outside the galaxy. They had to be sure what danger exists outside the galaxy. After a long debate they decided that the Imperial Senate should vote about it. Leia said that she would do anything to convince the senators to vote for the pursuit. She would go even so far that she would resign as Supreme Chancellor if she would not succeed with the vote.
After the consultation Luke and Leia were discussing it. Luke said that he understood the senators. The Imperial army was very powerful, much more powerful than most senators thought it was. And in the last war against the enemy they saw how powerful really the Imperial army was. And they were afraid of it. They wanted to have it under their control here in the galaxy and not somewhere outside in pursuit of the enemy. So probably the Imperial Senate would vote against the pursuit.
The Imperial Senate voted with a small majority against the pursuit. But they decided that they would establish a commission which would thoroughly analyze the situation and would make recommendations about what the Empire should do with the enemy. Leia had a speech with which she resigned as Supreme Chancellor.
Luke visited Leia in her rooms as she was packing and preparing to leave. She told Luke that she would try to find Han and she would try to convince him to go outside the galaxy to explore secretly the enemy base. Lando would help her with that. Luke tried to convince her not to go and to wait for the decision of the Senate commission. But Leia was convinced that the commission would be in session for ever and never make a decision. She was very angry and stubborn. She leaved with C-3PO and R2-D2.
Leia and Lando found Han on a smuggler planet in a suspicious bar. When Leia told Han her idea he laughed at her. He would never cooperate in such a suicidal mission. But then Leia told him that she and especially Lando had a lot of money prepared to invest into the Millenium Falcon for this mission. With that money they could modernize Millenium Falcon with the newest high-tech equipment and especially with the newest weapons. And still there would be some money left for Han. Han was convinced.
In the next weeks they modernized Millenium Falcon. It took a lot of money, but Lando had his resources. During this time Han and Leia became again lovers.
Then finally one day they leaved. First they had to pass unnoticed the Imperial forces that were protecting the borders of the galaxy. With difficult and complex manoeuvres they succeeded. Outside the galaxy they started slowly to jump to the coordinate of the possible enemy base. They didn't go directly to that point but slightly away from it. Suddenly after one hyper jump they detected a small station in front of them. It couldn't be the enemy base, because it was to small. At that moment they were attacked by an enemy fighter. There was a spectacular fight. Soon two other fighters attacked them. After a long chase and battle they destroyed the enemy fighters. Then they went to the space station. There were no more enemy fighters. The station looked deserted. They decided to go on the station.
On the station they were attacked by two enemy soldiers. There was a fight in the corridors of the station with laser guns. The two enemy soldiers were killed. They explored the station. They found out that this was one of several enemy outposts between the galaxy and the enemy base. They sent all the information that they got back to the Empire. Lando arranged a communication link with his friends on Coruscant, so that the Empire would have all the informations they got in case they would not return to the Empire. They stayed several days on the station excepting the attack of the enemy. They were sure the enemy knew they were on the station. But no one attacked them.
They went slowly to the main base with small hyper jumps. After each jump they thoroughly examined their surrounding. There was no sign of the enemy army. After the last jump they came in the vicinity of the main base. First they thought they miscalculated and jumped to close to the main base, but then they confirmed that the distance was right, but that the main base was so huge. It was a gigantic intergalactic space station. The death star would be just a small asteroid circling around the space station. It was a spectacular view. They started to examine it from that distance and they sent all the information back to the Empire. Then they started to quarrel if they should go any closer. From this distance they couldn't detect any motion or any spaceships around the station. It looked deserted. At that moment appeared a huge Empire army around them. Also the Emperors main star cruiser appeared.
They joined Luke on the main deck of the Emperors main star cruiser. Luke explained them that the Senators changed their mind and that they voted once again about the pursuit and this time the majority was in favor of the pursuit. Leias resign and some political diplomacy helped the vote. Landos friends gave the Imperial army all the information that they got, so the Imperial army could prepare well and also they knew the exact location of the outposts and the main enemy station. So now they were here in the vicinity of the enemy base. The station was deserted, but Luke told them that he could sense one person on the station. He decided to go alone on the station to visit that person.
Luke walked through the corridors of the station. He knew exactly where to go. He came to the main control room. There he found Boba Fett. Luke wasn't surprised. He took his lightsaber. Boba also had a lightsaber. He was very anxious to fight against Luke, to fight against the Jedi who killed Darth Vader and destroyed Darth Sidious. They began to fight. It was a spectacular and long lasting duel.
During the battle Boba explained to Luke the whole situation. Boba Fett like his father Jango Fett were also Jedis or like Luke something more than Jedis. The Force was a manifestation of the Consciousness of the galaxy. Some thousands years ago the Consciousness was born from the billions and billions of consciousnesses of all the beings in the galaxy. First it was as a child completely lost. Then in the next thousands years it learned how to deal with itself and its surrounding and it grew more and more powerful. In the last turbulent decades the Consciousness grew up. Now it was an adult, fully aware of its powers. And now it wanted to explore the space around its galaxy, it wanted to spread to other galaxies, make contacts with other Consciousnesses like it's own. But the only way it could do that was through Consciousness beings. They had to go to other galaxies and populate them. But in the galaxy there was no interest to explore other galaxies. The galaxy was huge and, for the beings who lived in it, there was enough space and also other galaxies were very very far away. So the Consciousness had to provoke the conquest of other galaxies. It chose some Jedis and trained them in a specific way. With their help it built the large Intergalactic station and a large and powerful army. Boba didn't kill the Imperial officer who was now in command of the enemy army. But he made an arrangement with him. He told him, that Darth Vader already lost the war, and that the best way to revenge Darth Vader was to play his own assassination and to go to this Intergalactic station and to take command of the already prepared powerful army. Then when the time would be right he could attack Luke, kill him, take over Coruscant and the Empire and become the new Emperor. The Consciousness had the following plan: the Empire would be attacked from outside the galaxy. Then the Empire would strike back and it's army would for the first time go outside the galaxy. That would provoke the curiosity and it would also show that there is something outside the galaxy worth to conquer. That would provoke the Empire to start the conquest of other galaxies.
Luke and Boba ended the fight. Nobody could win, they were equal. And there was also no reason left for them to fight. Luke didn't approve the whole plan of the Consciousness. It was a bloody plan, with lot of wars, destruction, suffering and dead. But Boba told him that that was the way of evolution of nature.
Several days later Luke and Leia were in a large room on the Intergalactic station. The view from the window on the galaxy was magnificent. Luke didn't told anybody else about the things Boba told him. He just told the others that Boba was another secret Jedi helping them secretly all the time. Luke and Leia were discussing the enemy army. The enemy army left the station before they came. They escaped to the nearest galaxy, where the enemy army had its training camp. It was a large and powerful training camp where the enemy army trained and simulated their attack on the Empire. It would be very difficult for the Empire to attack the enemy there and to destroy it. But they had to do it.
