A small Imperial spaceship was intercepted by the Imperial starcruiser above planet Tatooine. They exchanged the secret Imperial codes. Aboard the small spaceship were heavy armed special Imperial troopers. They told the starcruiser that they had a special secret mission on Tatooine. The codes were good so the starcruiser allowed the spaceship to land on Tatooine. The spaceship landed in the desert near the fortress of Jabba Hutt. The special Imperial troopers attacked the fortress. They rescued Han Solo who was still frozen. During the attack they devastated the fortress and massacred Jabba Hutts troops, but they left on purpose Jabba Hut and his closest commanders alive. They brought the frozen Han Solo on board the spaceship and left. When they were in deep space, the Imperial troopers took their helmets off. One of them was Lando Calrissian and one of the pilots was Chewbacca . They were happy that their plan succeeded.
The secret rebellion space station - their headquarters. Han Solo was in the regeneration liquid. He was still unconsciousness. Princess Leia Organa with C-3PO watched over him. She was very concerned about Han.
The home planet of Yoda. Luke Skywalker brought Yoda back to his home planet. R2-D2 was with them. Yoda was very happy. He never thought that he would see his home planet again. During the voyage Yoda explained the history of the Jedi knights and specially the last decades to Luke. Yoda said to Luke that he can sense that Luke became part of the Dark side of the Force. That he wasn't strong enough to resist the temptation of the Dark Force. But there was also something strange about him. Luke answered that the truth is somewhat different. He was not part of the Dark Force, but the Dark Force was part of him. He was in control of the Dark Force. He was above the Force and above the Dark Force. He still couldn't understand it completely. Then Yoda told Luke that he should be very careful with this new powers, which are very strange. Then he told that he would die soon. He already lived very long, longer than his people lived. The Force helped him with that. But now he could feel that the old times, the old Forces were slipping away. Something completely new was waiting in the future. He as a part of the old forces had to die.
Princess Leia Organa was in a hurry. She almost ran through the corridors of the rebellion station. She came to the hospital. Han Solo was awake after he slept for several days. He was sitting on his bed. Leia hugged him. That night they slept together for the first time. Afterwards they laid in bed and had a small talk. But then Han asked what will the rebellion do next. Leia answered him, that they will attack Coruscant. Han was chocked. Coruscant was the capital of the Empire, the most powerful and guarded fortress ever. He thought the rebels had lost their mind.
The main strategic room at the rebellion headquarters. It was a spectacular high-tech room with the 3D map of the whole Empire and several other multi-dimensional strategic maps. All high commanders of the rebellion force were there together with Leia, Luke, Han, C-3PO, R2-D2, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian. They were discussing the details of the attack on Coruscant. The main plan was that Luke would get in contact with Darth Vader. He would accept Vaders plan that both of them were strong enough to destroy Darth Sidious on Coruscant and then together rule the Empire. Luke would have no problems with that, because Vader would sense that Luke was already part of the Dark side of the Force. Then Luke would kill Vader and take over the Empire. He would not immediately dissolve the Empire but become the next Emperor. Then in the next years he would slowly change the Empire back into the Republic. This was the only way to prevent that the galaxy would fall into chaos. Because without the Jedis and after decades of Imperial oppression there was no way to immediately establish a stable and strong Republic.
There was a problem with this plan. If Luke succeeded in becoming the next Emperor he still wouldn't control the powerful Imperial army. There were a lot of powerful officers in the Imperial army who would not accept Luke as their new Emperor and they would probably rebel. To prevent that, the rebells had to weaken the Imperial army and eliminate the most dangerous officers, so that Luke could take control over the Imperial army. Luckily Darth Sidious didn't trust Darth Vader. So he had his elite Imperial force, which was under his direct command. Darth Vader had no control over it. This elite Imperial force was located on and around Coruscant to protect Darth Sidous. Luke would suggest to Darth Vader the following plan: If Luke and Vader wanted to rule the galaxy they had to destroy also the elite Imperial Force. Destroying Darth Sidious wouldn't be enough. Darth Vader would allow the rebellion force to come close to Coruscant. Then the rebellion force would attack Coruscant. They can not win, but the battle would weaken heavily the rebellion force and the elite Imperial army. Then Darth Vaders Imperial army would attack and eliminate the rebellion and the elite Imperial forces. Luke would convince Darth Vader that he convinced the rebells that he would kill him after they both destroyed Darth Sidious and then he would take control over Vaders Imperial army which would help the rebells attacking Coruscant. Based on that logic the rebels would be willing to attack Coruscant. But in truth the rebels would in the next days secretly eliminate the most important officers of Darth Vaders Imperial army, so Luke would have no problem taking over the Imperial army after he killed Vader. Han, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian had the task of eliminating the officers. They were smugglers and had a lot of criminal underground contacts. And after the attack of the Imperial force on Jabba Hutt the whole criminal underground was angry and afraid of the Imperial army. They would be happy to help the rebels to eliminate the Imperial officers.
This was Lukes plan. Not everybody was happy about the plan. It was to complicated and it was a double - double game. They didn't trust Luke to much, because he could easily betray them. The risk was high. But it was their only choice to win this war.
Luke arrived with his fighter to the main starcruiser of Darth Vader. R2-D2 was with him. He would be Lukes communication link with the rebel forces and R2-D2 was given also the task to oversee Luke. They were accompanied by the Imperial fighters. Darth Vader waited for him on the main deck. Luke arrived. Vader was satisfied that Luke accepted his plan to destroy Darth Sidious and to rule together the galaxy.
Han Solo, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian were with the Millenium Falcom on their mission. The Imperial officers were several times on leave. At such times they visited bars and also brothels. Han, Chewbacca and Lando got the informations about when and where the officers were on leave and then assassinated them in an non suspicious way.
Several days later in the rebellion headquarters. Leia Organa was in consultation with the other rebel commanders. Darth Vader Imperial forces were shifting to the designated positions. The path to Coruscant for the rebel forces was open.
Han and Lando had a problem. They couldn't get to the most loyal and powerful of Vaders officer. He was all the time in his headquarters on his starcruiser and he was very good guarded. It seemed that, from the moment that Luke got in contact with Darth Vader, Vader wanted to protect his most loyal officer. Possible for preventive reasons. If Luke tried to kill Vader and if he succeeded in this then he still would not be able to take over Vaders Imperial force. His most loyal officer would take command of the force and probably attack the rebels and Luke. Lando told Han that they hired Boba Fett to kill the officer. The rebels paid him well for the mission. Han was pissed of, he felt like he was betrayed the second time.
Boba Fett succeeded in his spectacular mission. He got to the officer unobtrusively, killed him masterly and disappeared.
Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker arrived on Coruscant. At that moment the rebels attacked the Imperial forces of Darth Sidious. It was a spectacular space battle. Darth Sidious received Vader and Luke. He knew why they came to him. He knew they wanted to destroy him. He knew Vader betrayed him and let the rebels to attack Coruscant. His Dark Force was powerful and he had his net of informers. Darth Vader attacked him with his lightsaber. Darth Sidious attacked Vader with his powerful Force. Luke attacked Darth Sidious with his Force. There was a spectacular fight. Meantime there was a spectacular battle in space around Coruscant. After a long and heavy fight, Darth Vader with the help of Luke killed and destroyed Darth Sidious with his lightsaber. At the moment that Darth Sidious was destroyed there was a shock wave through the Force through the whole galaxy.
Then Luke took his lightsaber and attacked Darth Vader. There was a spectacular fight between Luke and Vader. The space battle around Coruscant became devastative. The rebels got the information from R2-D2 that the Emperor was destroyed and that Luke fought Vader. They attacked with all their resources. After a very long and spectacular fight between Luke and Vader, Luke won the fight. He was the more powerful one. He killed Darth Vader.
Luke proclaimed himself as the new Emperor of the Empire. He took control over the Imperial Palace on Coruscant. He also succeeded in taking control over the Dart Vaders Imperial forces. Han, Lando and Chewbacca did an excellent work. As it was expected Darth Sidious Imperial forces didn't accept Luke as the new Emperor. They attacked the Imperial Palace on Coruscant. Darth Vaders Imperial forces came to Coruscant and attacked the Imperial forces of Darth Sidious. The space battle was ferocious. The rebels special units landed near the Imperial Palace to help Luke to defend the palace. The Imperial forces of Darth Sidious were destroyed. It was a great victory for the rebels. Princess Leia Organa with some rebel commanders landed heavy guarded on Coruscant. They came to the palace to recognize Luke as the new Emperor.
Several months later. It was the first session of the new Imperial Senate. Princess Leia Organa had a speech. Afterwards she was elected as the Supreme Chancellor. She became the second most powerful person in the Empire after the Emperor. C-3PO was her assistant. This day was the beginning of the end of the Empire and the beginning of the new Republic.
Emperor Luke was that day on his main Imperial starcruiser somewhere in the galaxy. R2-D2 was with him. He spent a lot of time on his starcruiser checking the Imperial troops and strengthening his control over them. He replaced several Imperial officers with former rebel officers. Imperial army was still one of the greatest army the Galaxy ever saw. It was frightening powerful. Much to powerful thought Luke. He was glad that Leia was elected, but at the same time he was worried about the future. The future was very clouded and uncertain.
Han Solo and Leia Organa were in her rooms. Han was leaving. He was a smuggler and an adventurer. He couldn't live a n ordinary family life with Leia. It was a strange and uncomfortable world for him. Leia knew that, so she didn't persuade him to stay. Lando Calrissian became an important person in the Imperial Administration, so the Millenium Falcon was completely his again. Chewbacca was already waiting for Han at the spaceport. It was a sad farewell. Han and Chewbacca went in their Millenium Falcon away from Leia and Coruscant into deep space. Their first aim was to find Boba Fett. Han had some unfinished business with him.
