Back to Bear's Den!

HOW DID YOU GET THE NICKNAME "BEAR?"
Bear stuck with me from my friends and exes who consider me like a teddy bear...soft and cuddly and a giver of great hugs.

HOW DO YOU I.D. YOURSELF?
Well, other than a bear, I am beginning transition as an FTM, or female to male transexual. I'm much more comfortable being referred to as male, and once I can afford chest surgery I'll be able to pass much easier. Right now most people refer to me as "Sir...um, I'm sorry...ma'am?"

ARE YOU SINGLE?
Incredibly, yes. Since I'm pretty settled where I am, I don't want to get involved in a long distance relationship. But in spite of the fact that there are over a million and a half people in San Antonio, I can't seem to connect with anyone. I'm only attracted to femmes, but considering my current state of gender flux, the date pool is limited. That, and I tend to be quiet and shy.

WHAT'S YOUR SIGN?
I'm a Taurus. And yes, I am stubborn.

WHAT IS YOUR GOAL IN LIFE?
To be able to support myself as a writer. Either that or find myself a Sugar Mamma. Heh.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?
Right now I'm in the process of getting back into the medical field as an xray tech.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I was born in San Antonio, Texas...moved around a lot as an Air Force brat...ended up in South Carolina for most of the last 25 years or so. This past September I needed a change, and packed my dog and what would fit in the car and drove across country to Eugene, Oregon, where I stayed with good friends for three months, but was unable to find steady work. In January, I continued on to Southern California to stay with more friends while still trying to get on my feet. But again, finding a good, steady job in a recession isn't such an easy thing, so it was time to move on again. I headed back to San Antonio, if for no other reason than I wanted to once again be in close proximity of a good chicken fried steak. But I feel glad to be back "home."

WHAT'S UP WITH THIS LONG WEB SITE AND ALL THESE PAGES AND GRAPHICS? ARE YOU WACKED, OR WHAT?
Well, it started as a simple project, then the more I learned about HTML I just couldn't stop myself.
