Unspoken Mystery

Come forth my little one,
dream faces are undone.
Do not hide in the candle light,
be smothered in soft arms so tight.
Destinations can be near or far;
arrivals can be as welcome as a star.

Venture into the land of the soul,
you speak of it...as if unreachable.
Share what's in your heart,
no matter what I impart.
Out here in the wood
love is not misunderstood;
enter not with one, but both feet in.

While it challenges a vow
made here on one bough.
Oh! anguishing heart
from thy lips you can start.
Make it real, not fictitious.
Embracing the capricious
hinders the spirits endurance.
