Impossible love can occur
Dreaming of love, fading in
As it fades out, can I endure
Searching, longing, waiting
Maybe it was the generation
I’ve felt the unobtainable before
Distant even, perhaps fictional
Oh, this one has broken the door

Needing a caring over a struggle
Like the blade of grass pushing With her desire and her fears Through the asphalt The cards were already dealt Yearning, unsatisfied
Wishing for no complications
|
There was a time
When love was all that mattered
Then a cancer it did shatter
Can there be blame
No, its just not the same
Anymore,
Still I come to the door

Artist acknowledgement; As most who have visited my web site may have noticed, I have spent alot of time looking for that one piece of art that seems to reflect my poetry. In that light, I must say, no other artist has captured my attention more than Duncan Long. I say this because alot of his works are facial in essence. What I notice is the emotion and view into the soul of things seen and not so seen, through his eyes and the eyes of the subject, there soul. There is a wisdom that often comes with years of life experiences, he shares this in a moment thats's as quick as silence is.
This page is dedicated to all the people that have encountered a disease, specifically, cancer.
In addition, as difficult as the subject can be, this represents a tribute or memorial, if you will, to the hurt that a person suffers from rape. If there is a magic wand I would wave it, if there was a Genie I would wish it had never happened to those that it has. I honestly believe that love can enter into and heal, more than anyone can imagine. So, I hope this page generates the spontaneity that love springs from, to those that need it. Not pity, do not change yourself to be with them. Let them know that no matter what, you are here. I believe, this is there wish?
Finally its about unrequited love.
Below are some links that I hope will provide support to everyone who encounters these seemingly, heartless experiences. As well as for those that are with them.
