Zion's Gems

Thanks for visiting this webpage!

Several years ago I began to seriously ponder the significance of

the temple ceremony.  My thoughts were led to the Sermon on the Mount,

where I discovered not just a collection of sayings, but a well organized

exposition of covenant fulfillment.  This realization was the beginning of

a journey into a search for covenant design.  Unfortunately, to my knowledge,

no one has presented a design theory which unifies all of God's covenants.

The ideas presented in these articles are not the result of researching the writings

of other authors, but the result of "line upon line and precept upon precept" as I pondered

scripture and restored truth.  I struggle with the warning of casting that which is holy

to the dogs, yet I have a great desire to share my findings with the faithful and willing.

This is a work in progress, it may contain mistakes or errors in reasoning,

although I diligently strive to stay within the bounds of the restored gospel of Christ.

Bear in mind that I am not a scholar, but a tile setter with a house full of kids.

I am not skilled in speaking or writing, yet I feel truth is on my side.

The Book of Revelations should have been called the Book of Covenant Fulfillment.

God has dealt with his children through the church, prophets, and covenants.

These three are intricately woven into the fabric of Revelations.  To truly

understand the design of the Revelations of John, one must have a clear grasp

of covenant design.  Until a year ago, I had no interest in or knowledge of

Revelations, but as I entered deeper into the Lord's patterns I found myself

searching Revelations to seek answers to the mystery of the creation of Genesis.

As I pondered its seven churches, servants, seals, trumpets, and vials, I

realized these patterns have paramount significance to its organization

and hidden meaning.

The Revelations paper I present here was written in the beginning of 2005,

my knowledge has increased since then.  By applying the concepts of covenant design,

scripture study takes on a whole new dimension.  It is my prayer that

others will experience the thrill of discovery through deep reflection,

 even as I have.

Suggestions and comments are welcome.
