This is bells beach, home of surfing. It
is on the Great Ocean road and is home to the many, and the best, international
surfing competitions. |
|
And Two surfer girl champions from Bells
beach...ok...maybe not. But we definately are addicted now. |
|
This is the twelve apostles on the Great
Ocean road. Somehow I have tons of pictures of these...and they all look
the same. |
|
This is at my new place of residence for
the next five months, Farrer Hall. This is one of our many functions. If
you couldn't guess, this theme was a beach party! From left to right; Sean(Canada),
Zela(Missouri), me, and Davo(australia). |
|
This is the MCG where my favorite Australian
sport takes place...Footy. I cannot explain it here, nor could you get
an idea of what a great game it is. This was the Essendon Bombers vs. Carlton.
We won. again. Go Bombers!
(Ask me about footy and I would love to
elaborate!!) |
|
Here we are; myself, Misha, and Zela all
dressed up and no place to go... really, it's for the Engineering ball.
I know, i know, i'm not in engineering and neither are the other two clowns.
Australians are a very social group, so they encourage you to go to as
many balls as you'd like, free food, free drinks, and dancing all night.
Oh, and yes, the dancing is free, unless you tip. |

This is classy beer day. Never thought you
would hear classy and beer day in the same sentence did you? Well this
is for the To Beer club that i am an international correspondant for. On
this day you dress classy, and drink only the classiest beers on the uni
campus lawn in between the bar and the arts building. What could be classier? |
|
This is my classy briefcase that I decided
to bring to classy beer day for the tobeer club. But you won't find files
in there my friends, just classy beer.
(side note to certain americans: note the
classy budweiser) |
|
Here, Steve, Sean, Keith, Misha, Zela, and
I all sit atop the pinnacle at the Grampians, after Zela, Misha and I got
separated from the other group and took the wrong trail. However, due to
our superior directional skills, we made it to the top to meet the others.
(Side note: We took the harder hike up.) |
|
This is the ghetto tent. Misha and I had
to borrow a tent from the class because neither of us had one. This was
the one we were lucky enough to get. We grew to love it, especially since
after a couple of days we looked ghetto too. |
|
This is atop Mt. Difficult, our first hike
of the trip, it was somewhere between a 500-800 meter scramble up. Water
was all we wanted. |
